Keep what moves you.

Highlight a sentence. Leave a thought. Watch your ideas connect. Glean is a quiet browser extension for the sentences that stay with you.

Live — how a card is born

Most highlights die in a folder somewhere. The good ones stay with you.

The flow

Not every highlight deserves a second brain.
Some deserve your first thought.

1.

Highlight

Select any sentence, on any page. A small quotation mark appears beside your cursor — nothing more. No popup storm, no account wall.

2.

Thought

The moment a quote is saved, write what it made you think. The thought is the point — the quote is just the excuse.

3.

Reflect

When you choose, ask AI about a card or analyze your thinking patterns. It only happens when you trigger it — using your own API key.

The wall

What have you been thinking?

Every card is a sentence someone stopped for, and the thought it left behind. Pick a source — see what you saved from the same place.

Creativity is intelligence having fun.

Details

Built for quiet thinking.

Local first

Your cards live in your browser, not on our servers. AI and sync credentials never leave local storage. Your thoughts stay yours unless you say otherwise.

Follows the night

Dark mode tracks your system, or switch it by hand. The dark theme is warm ink, not cold black — made for reading at midnight.

Syncs if you want

Send cards to a Notion database, or back everything up to Nutstore over WebDAV. Optional, quiet, and off by default.

Speaks three languages

中文, English, and Français — because good sentences are written in every language.

There are thoughts worth keeping.

Glean Quietly collect what matters.
